Join and bring the family to the Diocese of Chalan Kanoa 2019 Annual 5K Walkathon! Just like last year, our route will be along Beach Road from Kristo Rai Parish parking lot in Garapan to Quartermaster Road and back.  Registration will start at 6:00 A.M.  Included in our program are health checks from CHCC, a dance/Zumba demonstration and presentations by guest speakers. Free registration, and free Dri-fit shirts for early registrants.

Lunar New Year Party in The Marianas

To mark the Lunar New Year, the Marianas Visitors Authority (MVA) and community partners will hold an evening Lunar New Year Party in The Marianas on Feb. 5, 2019. The evening will include live entertainment and food sales from 6-10 p.m. at Paseo de Marianas pedestrian mall in downtown Garapan, Saipan. Entertainment will include performances by the Chinese community, Korean community, the Chamorro community, and other groups. If you’ve never biked the quiet roadways and backtrails of Tinian, the 15th Annual Tinian Hot Pepper Festival Feb. 16-17, 2019, in The Marianas will make it easier than ever with free transportation for bike racers from Saipan to Tinian. February is the month of spring season.  The spring season is considered to be the time to start a new life after the long Japanese winter.
