DESCRIPTION:The 24th Annual Micronesia Cup will finally take place on the shores of Saipan\, CNMI\, after a long wait of 12 years\, two major typhoons\, and the COVID-19 pandemic. We are thrilled to once again host the largest outrigger canoe event in Micronesia\, as part of the annual rotation between Guam\, Palau\, and the CNMI. \nThe Northern Marianas National Paddle Sports Federation (NMNPSF)\, a non-profit organization\, is leading the effort in organizing this special event\, which will feature men’s\, women’s\, junior\, and master paddlers from various clubs across CNMI\, Guam\, Pohnpei\, and the Marshall Islands. \nWe invite the entire community to bring their families and join us for this exciting competition. Admission is free\, and local crafts and food vendors will be on site for spectators and participants to enjoy. Don’t forget your sunblock—good times & tan lines are ahead! The NMNPSF looks forward to seeing you all there.

DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for the 22nd Annual HANMI Charity Classic Golf Tournament on August 24\, 2024\, at Coral Ocean Resort Saipan. Registration forms are available at COR clubhouse\, Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan front desk\, and at www.saipanhotels.org. \nThe early bird tournament fee is $110.00 for CNMI residents and includes an awards banquet at Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan’s Ataari Dinner Show. Optional play is $30. The fee increases to $130.00 after the early bird deadline on August 10\, 2024. Registration fee for non-CNMI residents is $180 (also includes green fee and awards banquet). Optional play will include Accurate Drive (Hole #16)\, Circle (#6)\, Longest Drive (#18) and four chances for Nearest to the Pin (Holes #3\, #7\, #12\, and #14). Showtime is 6:00 a.m.\, and the tournament will start at 7:00 a.m. \nEarly hole-in-one prizes include $5\,000 cash from Island Training Solutions. sThe tournament will be open to the first 144 paid registrants.
