Get ready for the last swim in 500 Sails – Dolphin Club Saipan’s Summer Fun – Open Water Series!

Halloween Hunter Moon is a fun NIGHT swim that offers a .5k or 1k short distance swim. This swim takes place at the Guma Sakman (old 4-H building across from Marianas High School).
Registration begins at the Guma at 6:45 p.m., and the swim start time is at 7:30 p.m.

Registration Fees are:
$10 for Dolphin Club Saipan Members
$20 for Non-members
FREE for lifeguards with proof of certification

Eagle Ray / Pau Pau to Managaha Swim

Get ready for the biggest swim in 500 Sails – Dolphin Club Saipan’s Summer Fun – Open Water Series!

Eagle Ray / Pau Pau to Managaha is a 7.25k distance swim starting at Pau Pau Beach and ending at Managaha.  For this swim, swimmers are required to be accompanied by an approved kayaker as a safety escort.

Registration begins @ 5:45am and swim start time is at 6:30am.

Pau Pau to Tanapag is a 3.5k* distance swim starting at Pau Pau Beach.

2019 Tagaman Triathlon

Marking 30 years of existence, the Tagaman triathlon is slated for March 30, 2019, on the island of Saipan in The Marianas.

Registration is available online at www.saipantriathlon.com or www.webscorer.com by searching the event name or Race ID 148748.  The early bird registration fee through Dec. 31, 2018, is $80/solo and $180/team.

Tagaman is an annual signature event of the Marianas Visitors Authority (MVA), aimed at attracting visiting athletes and media to the tropical shores of The Marianas.  Organization is co-organized by MVA and Triathlon Association of the CNMI (TRAC).

With its 2K swim, 60K bike, and 1.5K bike, Tagaman is named for the ancient indigenous Chamorro chief Taga, renowned for his legendary feats of strength.  Tagaman welcomes athletes of all levels and ages.  The starting point and swim leg will be Kanoa Resort Saipan.  Bikers will transition at Kilili Pavilion parking lot in Susupe, head south to Airport Rd., north to Banzai Cliff, and back south to Mina’chom Atdao Pavilion in Susupe for the finish line.

Cash prizes await the Top 3 finishers in the women’s and men’s open categories: $1,000 for 1st place, $700 for 2nd place, and $500 for 3rd place.  Medals will be awarded for the Age Group Division, team and individual finishers respectively.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2019, registration will jump to $120/solo and $200/relay team, while rates will again increase on Mar. 1, 2019, to $150/solo and $240/relay team.  The last day to register is Mar. 28, 2019.

Early sponsors for the 30th Tagaman triathlon are Kanoa Resort Saipan as the official hotel of the 30th anniversary, Neo System as the official timer, KFC Triathlon Club of Japan, and Tri Tour of Korea.

Tagaman race series events to prepare for the main event will be announced in the coming months.
