The Marianas’ Cultural Art Gallery

The Marianas’ Cultural Art Gallery includes locally made masterpieces that showcase our island’s best artisan and craftspeople. The art gallery is the first of its kind with most items on display available for purchase and will be accompanied by live demonstrations and performances. Demonstrations will occur nightly from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and includes mwar making; various jewelry making that uses beads, shells and sinahi; weaving and wood carving. Live musical performances and dances will be done on select evenings.

100% of all proceeds will go directly to the local artists.

The official launch of The Marianas’ Cultural Art Gallery is September 8, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the southern end of T Galleria. The art gallery will be up the entire month of September as part of Cultural Heritage Month and can be visited daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. It is made possible in partnership by T Galleria by DFS, Marianas Visitors Authority, and the Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture of the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs.
