Saipan, Tinian and Rota each present a wealth of historic, cultural and geographic sites that highlight the unique richness of the Northern Marianas. The best part is, you can easily visit a number of significant sites in a single day due to the intimacy of these small islands.
The Saipan Beach Pathway stretches approximately 3 miles along Saipan's western coast, offering an unparalleled walking or running excursion along a picturesque route.
The straightaway takes you past a World War II bunker and tank, a memorial to 13 fishermen lost at sea, and ends (or begins, depending on where you start), at Kilili Beach park in Susupe. Early morning or late afternoon hours will frequently find fishermen throwing their lines or talaya nets as you pass by.
