Saipan, Tinian and Rota each present a wealth of historic, cultural and geographic sites that highlight the unique richness of the Northern Marianas. The best part is, you can easily visit a number of significant sites in a single day due to the intimacy of these small islands.
Tucked away at the end of a short drive through the Marpi jungle lays Wing Beach, Saipan’s northernmost beach. With the exception of a few divers gearing up on occasion, the only sounds you’ll hear here are those of the jungle birds and the waves as they meet the reef. Follow the beach north as it disappears into the rocky ledges that run the rest of the Marpi coastline. A great beach for sunning, shell collecting and snorkeling. It is also the entry point for one of the finest shore dives in Micronesia.
