JALWAYS ADDS SUMMER FLIGHTS TO SAIPAN

Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands - Following the increasing demand of Japanese travelers to choose the Northern Mariana Islands (Saipan, Tinian, and Rota) as their holiday destination of choice, JALWAYS will have addiitonal services from Haneda, Japan during the peak summer season.  The eight (8) charter flights from Haneda, will be able to service departing passengers from nearby areas of Tokyo, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro terminal stations as well from the Kawasaki, Yokohama, and other Shonan areas of Japan where marine (diving) actvities are popular amongs Japanese travelers.

These additional flights from Haneda will assist in strengthening the CNMI's tourism industry.  "We are very please to see this increased air service that would spark a whole new appeal to both the professional and recreational traveler.  JALWAYS has contributed so much to the CNMI's tourism industry and with the added seats, we expect a significant increase in arrivals for the summer months" said Vicky Benavente Managing Director, MVA.

JALWAYS will be operating the Boeing 767 planes from Haneda to the CNMI in July and August this year providing an additional 1,856 seats.  These charter flights are coordinated by major travel agencies in Japan.

In line with the summer high travel peak travel season, the MVA has commenced its popula "Happy Children in Paradise" Summer Campaign.  The "Saipan-da" backpack giveaway will be provided to children eleven years and under who visit the CNMI from July 1 - September 30, 2004, during the campaign period.  In addition, a live-in-motion Saipan-da character will be making special appearances at major hotels and present daily greeting to the arriving passengers on flights into Saipan.
