The U.S. dollar is the official currency. Several U.S. and international banks have branches in the CNMI, including the Bank of Hawaii, Bank of Guam, Bank of Saipan, and First Hawaiian Bank.

Most major credit cards (VISA, MC, Amex, JCB, Diner's Club, Discover, etc.) are accepted. ATMs can be found at most banks and major shopping centers.
