3rd Annual International Festival of Cultures

The Marianas Visitors Authority, together with The Arts Council and PDM Promoters, are please to introduce the “International Festival of Cultures”

This year marks the 3rd Annual of the event.

The overall goal of the International Festival of Cultures is to showcase the unique and diverse cultures of our islands to the public and especially to our visiting guests.  With this in mind we hope to turn this into another signature event that will take place every year.  Just has the Taste of the Marianas has become an iconic event for tourists and locals; our aim is for the “International Festival of Cultures” to be just as successful.

The venue will be at the Garapan Fishing Base.

The event is planned for September 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30 (5 Saturdays).

Every Saturday night cultural groups will showcase their heritage through dancing, music, plays, & etc.  In addition there will be vending booths where traditional cuisine can be sold as well as traditional arts & crafts.  There will also be demonstration booths such as basket weaving, mwar making, story board carving, origami paper folding, & etc.., where the public and tourist can interact with the diverse cultures.

The festival will be open from 5-9 p.m.  Open to everyone and free admission!
